Japan is developing the next-generation jet fighter within the framework of the international Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). The program includes three countries: Japan, the UK, and Italy.

Japan’s F-X program was merged into GCAP, making MHI the prime contractor for the new aircraft. The jet is set to utilize the latest technologies, including stealth, AI, loyal wingmen drones, and advanced sensors. The first prototype is scheduled to roll out for its first flight in 2027-2028 and enter service in 2035.

Japan’s MISTUBISHI FX jet fighter aircraft, nicknamed Godzilla by the media due to its expected large size and combat capability, is to be bigger than the

F-22 Raptor and possibly carry a larger payload than the F-35 Lightning II jet fighter, according to the defense budget. However, the real capabilities of the new jet aircraft are to be announced in the future.

Russia is going to produce new planes called MiG-41 (PAK DP). They will be replacing the old planes called MiG-31 Foxhound. It will serve as the replacement for Russia’s best interceptor fighters. There is not much known about the MiG-41. It was speculated that this plane will probably be faster than the MiG-31 and possibly the fastest jet. It is said unofficially that the MiG-41 will be able to fly at speeds up to Mach 4.

America has been known for their excellent fighter jets. Their sixth generation jet fighter F/A-XX, which will be replacing the F/A-18 Super Hornet, will undoubtedly be outstanding.

However, it is known that the jet will incorporate the latest stealth technologies, will use advanced artificial intelligence, and will be equipped with cutting-edge sensors, and will be able to team with unmanned fighter jets. Reports suggest that the jet would also likely possess the capability to be armed with various forms of directed energy weapons, such as high-energy lasers, although it is yet to be officially confirmed.

The Tempest is one of the world's most advanced sixth-generation fighter jet projects. Originally launched by the United Kingdom, the program is now part of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), a joint partnership between the United Kingdom, Japan, and Italy. This jet will also be introduced up to 2035 and is being designed to replace the Eurofighter Typhoon. According to a report, 2025 billions of dollars will be spent on this program. The special feature of the templates is that it will be able to control jet drones. In addition, it will be equipped with modern radars. And will be able to get up without a pilot.

Expected Specs :-

1. Drone Control: The Tempest is expected to control and operate alongside loyal wingman drones in combat.
2. Advanced Technology:  It will likely include cutting-edge stealth technology, radar, artificial intelligence, and electronic warfare.

The Tempest is still being developed, but it is expected to lead the future of air combat in the 2030s.
